What Do I Put on an Enclosure Card?

What to put on an Enclosure card?

On top of the invitation itself and the response card, there are optional enclosure cards that can be included to provide your guests with additional information in regards to your Big Day.

Direction & Map Cards

Direction cards offer simple yet detailed directions to your wedding venue while Map cards provide the routes and landmarks highlighted. This is especially helpful to out-of-town guests that are not familiar with the area. When you include these cards, the street address should not appear on the invitation itself.

Accommodation Cards

Accommodation cards are typically sent to out-of-town guests that need to make hotel arrangements. These list the host hotel, address, contact phone number, and a Group Code (if applicable.)

Ceremony Cards

Oftentimes, the couple opts to have a very small ceremony with a large reception. In this case, the invitation would list the reception address. An additional insert for those invited to the Ceremony would be added with the information of the private ceremony.

Reception Cards

Reception cards are included whenever the ceremony and reception are held a separate venues. The additional card allows more space to direct the guests to the correct location as well as indicate any cocktail hour and what-not.
