I’ve always been on the creative side, whether doodling on my notebooks in class or the occasional craft project. I’d lock myself in my room for hours and sketch, however “artist” was never on my list of things to be “when I grow up.” I wanted to be a doctor or a marine biologist - like every other kid.
One of the most often comments I hear when it comes to wedding invitations is “it’s just paper.” While that may be true, this simple piece of paper captures one of life’s biggest moments in such a significant way that it deserves to be treasured as an heirloom and an everlasting memory of that moment. That piece of paper signifies the joining of two hearts and writes the story of the who, what, when and where. Think of it as the prologue to the epic love story your about to embark on.
One of my favorite parts of wedding stationery, is styling flatlay shoots for each couples wedding invitations. I’m able to bring in my aesthetic into the photography using my branding colors and keeping the look cohesive, while also displaying some of the beautiful paper my brides have chosen.
