The Most Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Wedding Invitations

The time is here - you’re GETTING MARRIED! When it comes to all the paper involved, I am asked all types of questions. The when, the how, the what! You name it, it’s been asked.

Below I’ve collected the most frequently asked questions. I hope these can help you in your Wedding Stationery planning!

01 | How soon should I contact you to get started?

Invitations are typically mailed out 8 weeks in advance of your wedding date. For as destination wedding, it is typically 6 months ahead of the date to give your guests time to make travel arrangements. Even though the design + production process typically takes about 6-8 weeks, I recommend getting in touch as soon as possible to make sure we have plenty of time to create the perfect invitation suite. Also, having a few weeks’ extra buffer is always a good in “just in case!”

02 | How much will my invitations cost?

When it comes to wedding invitations, you’re not just receiving a piece of paper but rather a beautiful heirloom for one of life’s most special moments. My brides can typically expect to spend around $775.00 for 100 custom invitation suites (invitations + envelopes, RSVPs + envelopes, digitally printed), but pricing varies depending on quantity, printing methods, and additional suite enhancements. The average InvitoBella bride invests $1,200.00 in their custom stationery with suite enhancements and addressing services.

03 | What if I’m on a budget?

There are many ways we can work together to stay within your budget with realistic expectations. I will use my expertise to suggest the best options for your budget. If you're not sure if it will work with your budget, just ask - I'm happy to help answer questions!

04 | What if I have no idea what I want my invitations to look like?

Not to worry! Just send me your Pinterest board, describe your wedding to me, and tell me about you as a couple, and together we will come up with something fabulous! Every client and wedding is different - with different tastes, budgets and needs. One thing to note is that Design services are subjective art therefore, I ask that you review past work to be sure we are a good fit for each other.

05 | Do you offer printed proofs of my invitation before you send to print?

Most printers typically print minimums and printing typically takes 2 weeks for turnaround. With that being said, we do not offer printed proofs but can provide a sample of our work quality during our Design Consultation. We also provide high resolution digital design proofs to show a proper rendition of what your invitation design will look like.
