A Classic New Orleans Wedding at Elms Mansion: Lindsey & Matthew

The First Impression

There's something utterly enchanting about New Orleans weddings. When Lindsey and Matthew chose the iconic Elms Mansion for their January celebration, we created a custom stationery suite that captured that perfect balance of Southern sophistication and classic romance.

The Suite Details

The invitation suite featured a "L & M" monogram framed by soft laurel leaves, flowing script paired with clean serif typography, and a luxurious cream and gray palette. Our favorite detail? The custom envelope liner featuring a meticulous line drawing of Elms Mansion itself—transforming a simple envelope into the first chapter of their wedding story.

Wedding Day Elements

Guests were greeted by an elegant pale blue welcome sign mounted on the mansion's ornate iron gate. Inside, carefully crafted reserved signs and day-of details maintained design continuity throughout the evening. The reception space glowed under candlelight, with tables dressed in subtly textured linens and arrangements of peach, white, and pale blue blooms that perfectly complemented our paper elements.

The Magic of Custom Design

Creating custom stationery for Lindsey and Matthew reminded us why we love what we do. Every card, envelope, and sign became a small but significant part of their love story—pieces that guests held in their hands and that the couple will treasure for years to come. We're grateful to Brooke Casey Weddings for bringing us into this stunning celebration at one of New Orleans' most iconic venues.
